This is one of my favorite places to eat. Authentic Mexican food, buffets always full and the food is great
I got a bean and cheese pupusa and OMG it was delicious!! I will definitely come back for that again. Got an asada taco and it was ok. It's the end of the night and I must have gotten the last of the steak because it was crunchy. But the pupusa made up for it! Lol
Some of the best pupusas I’ve had in a while! I love Salvadorian food, I’ve had it in Arizona, NY, and now Kentucky and this has to be some of the best I’ve had. Even better than the ones that I make at home and that says a lot . So ultra thin and cheesy what kind of cheese do you guys use? The loroco pupusa was very flavorful and our drinks were excellent as well. Horchata was delicious I just wish it had a bit more cinnamon. The table salsa was honestly one of my favorite salsas I’ve ever tasted perfect balance of spicy, fresh, tangy. The two servers were an excellent help to us as we had to pack up and leave to catch the bus. Will be back at this place the next time I’m in town, thank you!
Appearances can be deceiving! What looks like a hole-in-the-wall type place has some of the best food around! It's a Salvadorian restaurant, so although they have dishes that seem similar to a lot of Mexican food we see everywhere, the flavor profile is refreshingly different. My husband loves the arroz con pollo, and my daughter loved their moist chicken tamales. And the pupusas, don't forget to try them! We are fairly new to Lexington, but this spot gets added to our short list
Food is very good, staff very friendly. We went to try the buffet, but it's thru the week only so ordered off the menu. Ate for lunch, got so much food we brought the left overs home and had for supper. So not bad to get 2 meals each for one price. We will be going back maybe this coming friday to try the buffet
!Delicioso! Admittedly I have little experience with Salvadoran food, but thankful my Latino colleagues served as cultural/gastro guides in this experience. I opted to do a shared popusa exploration. We ordered the Mix, Bean &Cheese, Loroco &Cheese, and Pork &Cheese. The temperature, texture were spot on. The filling is a thin layer of flavorful goodness. You won’t find chunks of meat or cheese in these, but the flavor is there. This is a food journey I highly recommend. Popusas are filling as well. I also had the Jamaica beverage as well. This sweet drink is a tastebud treat. My colleagues sampled the buffet with a wide variety of Salvadorian fare. They love
First time here! I had the buffet. The Pupusas were just made. They had loroco and everything. I also especially likes the chicken soup. It reminded me of home .
The food is delicious! Everything was good. Proportions are big for the money so don’t fill up on too many chips! The Papusas are a must. The food did take a little longer, but it was definitely worth the wait. Posted the menu below because it was hard to find online.
